AFA Submissions - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
General Instructions
To start a submission, please click on Start Submission for one of the open programs listed below.
To view a saved or in progress submission, please click on My Submissions in the menu on the left and then select In Progress submissions.
To view a past submission (from a previous year), please click on My Submissions in the menu on the left and then select Archived submissions.
Logging In with FSID/FSCentral
Submitters must have an FSID/FSCentral account to start a submission. For more information and to create a free FSCentral login, please visit https://portal.fscentral.org/.
Adding a Collaborator
Some programs in AFA Submissions have the option to add a collaborator to your submission form. For programs where this feature is enabled, click on the 'Add a Collaborator' button in the top right corner above the submission form to add a collaborator.
AFA Submissions uses single sign-on (SSO) technology with FSCentral. When adding a collaborator to your submission form, please ensure you list the email associated with the individual's FSID login. Please note that this may be different than the individual's preferred email address for AFA communications.
Accessing a Past Submission
Submitters may access a submission form from a previous year (2024 - present). To view a past submission, please click on My Submissions in the menu on the left and then select All Submissions. Please note that you may need to click 'Show Full History' to view submissions that are older than 120 days.
Viewing Feedback on a Submission
Some programs in AFA Submissions have the option to view reviewer feedback on the submission form. For programs where this feature is enabled, please click on My Submissions in the menu on the left and then select All Submissions. To view reviewer feedback, click 'View Scores' to see the reviewer scores and comments for the selected submission.
